Since 1999, Weston Animal Hospital has been dedicated to providing personalized, comprehensive and the highest standard of veterinary care for our clients in South Florida. We are a full-service animal hospital providing wellness care, preventive and comprehensive medical treatment, surgical and dental treatments, and boarding services for dogs and cats. Dr. Joseph Zambella and his highly trained staff have over 20 years of veterinary care experience bringing their love for animals to work with them every day and it shines through in their professional and compassionate approach to caring for your beloved companions.

Dr. Z
Veterinarian
Dr. Z. graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the beautiful island of St. Kitts in 2013 after completing his clinical rotations at Colorado State University. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Z. studied Computer Science at Boston College and moved to South Florida in 2003 with his wife, Tara. They now have four beautiful children and one crazy golden retriever, Maui. Dr. Z. is an avid Boston sports fan, loves sailing and skiing and traveling.
Vanessa
Veterinarian Technician
Vanessa assists Dr. Z throughout the hospital from greeting your pet, to procedures and keeping you updated throughout their care. Vanessa has eight pets of her own that she cares for when she’s not in the hospital: Louie, Cardi, Jaxson, Daisy, Mama, Monkey, Coqui and Chubby.
Mirna
Groomer
Mirna, our groomer, is from Honduras and graduated from Merrifield School of Pet Grooming. She has been grooming pets since 2008, and she’s been our groomer for over 10 years. She has two dogs, Sawyer and Lilly.
Linda & Giovanna
Receptionists
Linda and Giovanna are the first friendly faces and voices you’ll meet at Weston Animal Hospital. They will help you set appointments, coordinate checking in your pet and assist with all payment needs.

Kennel Staff
Our Kennel Staff ensures your pets get the best care while they are with us. They bathe, walk and care for boarding pets, assist with grooming services, keep the kennel clean, and assist the team with various day-to-day operations to keep things running smoothly for you and your pet.
